Tree Lighting and Live Nativity

We always look forward to the local tree lighting.  Aidan watches them put the tree up and then counts down until the night of the lighting.  We all really enjoy it and it is a good start to the Christmas season.  It is always on the first Thursday after Thanksgiving, they shut down Main St, and the local businesses stay open late so everyone can check them out.  We grabbed a cheap and fast supper on the way in, and got there in good time.  We started with the live Nativity, and then just wondered around a little while until time to light the tree.  Were able to get a couple pieces of cheesecake from one of the local businesses.  Yum Yum!!!

Aidan wanted to make sure I got a good picture of the baby llama.  Not sure how old this little fella is, but he was tiny and super cute!  He just laid right there the whole time.

Assuming this was mama or daddy.  Huge size difference, and Aidan had to have his pic too!  :)

This is his 'I am tired, will you please stop taking my picture' look!  All the kids were really wound up from being so tired.  Aidan loved singing Jingle Bells and then counting down to when they flipped the switch.

All done!  Time to go home and go to bed!  ;)
