State Fair

We went to the State Fair the same weekend as Hill Ridge. It was a little much for one weekend, but time is so limited, we always have to cram everything in when we can. It was very cold that morning and windy, but it warmed up pretty quick. Poor Aidan was freezing when he was riding in his wagon from the car. I think that was the first time he had ever really been cold!!! He had a good time seeing the animals, riding in his wagon, and riding a couple of rides. He was still a little small to ride one of the ones he really wanted to do, but he was still able to enjoy himself. I decided since I have never jumped on the "fried" thing, I would try something this year. I had a deep fried Ho-Ho and Andy had deep fried Reese's cups. The Ho-Ho was not great, and I wouldn't get it again. Andy said the reese's cup tasted like a peanut butter funnel cake. Sounds pretty good to me. :) Now we can at least say we tried something new! Aidan ate part of a ham biscuit (which he called bacon :)), but that was about it. He did, however, love his happy meal we got him on the way home!
