Milestones ???

We have absolutely no space left on our computer, so that means no pics until we get it worked out. We have been through this before, but were able to clean up enough to make space for pics. We have a very "clean" PC now, but a very old one. :( Hope to upgrade in the next week or so....the space, not the computer!

I wanted to post about 2 "milestones" Aidan has reached, just so I would have it documented.

Aidan has moved into a big boy bed! He LOVES it! He has been in it for about 3 weeks now, and everything has gone really smoothly so far. He is one amazing kid...he actually threw a fit to sleep in it when we first set it up! So much for the "set it up in the room, and let them get used to it before making the transition!" I am happy that he has moved up because his crib was just getting too small for him. Now he has a twin bed that is actually big enough for him, and the 10+ stuffed animals that sleep with him!

Aidan has also officially given up the passy. We got him down to having it only in the car and when he slept a couple months before his birthday. Then over Labor Day weekend, he could no longer "use" it, so he would just hold it at those times. Two weeks ago when we went to the Outer Banks, I thought it was a good time to "lose" it. Put it in my purse, out of sight, and it hasn't been seen since! He sees pics of himself with it, and it doesn't even phase him. Thank goodness!!!! I honestly wondered if he would go to kindergarten with it!

Speaking of kindergarten, preschool is going really well. Aidan still isn't completely sure about some things, but he never cries and always has a good day. He usually falls asleep in the car as soon as Mama picks him up because he is so exhausted! He is only there for 3 hours, but that is a lot for a little guy! First field trip is next week!

My little baby is growing up into a wonderful little boy! We love him so much, and are truly blessed to have him in our lives!
