Christmas Eve is usually spent cooking for Christmas Eve night and Christmas Day. We always go to mama's on Christmas Eve night for supper and then unwrap presents. Aidan was more excited this year than he has been in the past simply because he knew he was going to get presents! Rick gave him his first present on the night before and he has been carrying it around ever since (writing this in March!). A baby otter! Wasn't exactly sure what Aidan would think since he already has his big otter, but he LOVED it!!! He now has "Otter" and "Baby Otter". I will take pics of all his "guys" and post later.
On Christmas Eve we let Aidan have one present from us. He loves taking pictures, so we got him his own camera. He was tickled! He took pics and videos all day!

Aidan gave nana and pop pop their own bluebird houses (from SECU :)). He loves watching all the birds at their house, and they have a ton!

Opening a present of his own (notice baby otter on Rick's leg and otter on the back of the couch)

Amy, Amber, and Tyler

Eddie and Laura

Leigh, Jacob and Tyler

My shaggy boy in desperate need of a haircut! :)

Earlier in the day we made sugar cookies for Santa. We sat them out that night before bed and Aidan just had to try them out to make sure they were good for Santa! He made reindeer food at school, so we spread that outside so they would have a treat too! He was pretty excited when he went to bed that night!

When we were picking out our Christmas tree, Aidan wanted one of his own too. So when we got home I found this "tree" at Walmart, so we decorated it with lights and a candy cane. It was really cute. We will see if it survives til next Christmas!
