Staying Busy

December is always a hectic time for us and most everyone else. We have really enjoyed the month so far and have been able to do lots of "Christmasy" things. Two weekends ago we had Warren, Mary Catherine and Holly over for a Christmas get together. We do it every year and always have a good time getting caught up. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of Aidan and Holly together, but I did get a few good ones of Aidan finding Pepsi!





He turned the can up and acted like he was used to drinking one everyday! He has never had any, and has never seen us drink from a can before, but he knew what it was!

We spent about a week trying to get a good picture of Aidan by the Christmas tree for our Christmas cards. It did not work out at all, and we ended up having to do a group shot. This is what happened when trying to get one of Aidan alone:

But it was in front of the fake tree, and a fake tree just isn't worthy of being on a Christmas card!

This past weekend we went to the Clayton Christmas parade. This was Aidan's first parade, and the first time I had been to this one in about 15 years! I feel old! Aidan enjoyed it, and was perfectly content the whole time. Here is a partial group shot of Eddie, Laura, Amy, Mama, Amber, Tyler, and Jake (Daddy, Andy, Aidan and I were missing). Daddy had to work so he couldn't make it.

After the parade we went to Meadow to see the lights. Aidan was no more interested in these lights than he was in the ones at Bristol!
