Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving weekend with Andy's mom and dad. This year the weather was actually warm for a change! It was a pleasant surprise! We went up on Thankgiving day, ate and just took it easy! On Friday we went to get our trees! It was so strange that it was so warm out there. We actually found ourselves trying to stay cool in the shade of the trees!

Aidan immediately picked out the tree he wanted! :) Just his size!

This one seems to be more of what we were looking for.
They were pretty busy and said they weren't expecting so many people that day so they didn't have as many people working. That meant we had to wait for a good while to have our tree cut down. Aidan got bored pretty fast!

They finally got back to us and cut our trees down. Aidan thought this was pretty cool!

Sitting on the trailer with our trees.

He was a really good helper, and helped them get our tree up to the baler. He was quite proud of himself!

Cooling off in the truck while Dada gets the trees loaded up.

Saturday we went walking in the woods with the dogs. Aidan really enjoyed this because he could run and squeal and do whatever he wanted to without getting in trouble! :) Of course the dogs loved being able to get out of the kennel and run around.

Aidan and Drake are supposed to be posing for the camera! Drake has a shorter attention span than Aidan!

Three of my boys. Major is quite lazy and was completely worn out by the time we got back to the truck, so he wasn't included in the picture. And, he thought it was a good idea to roll in something on the way back so he was also in trouble! :)

That night we went out to eat to celebrate Andy's birthday and his mom and dad's anniversary. Then we took Aidan to the racetrack in Bristol to see the Christmas lights. He loved it! I think his favorite part was probably being able to ride in the truck and not be in his carseat! :) Although, he did think going around the racetrack was pretty cool too! It was cold and crowded so we didn't even get out of the truck, so no pics!
