Zoo

Our membership to the zoo is going to expire at the end of the month, so we wanted to get one more trip in before renewing (got to get our money's worth! :) ). The weather was perfect, and we really enjoyed it. Aidan did not behave the best in the world, but we found out after we got home that he was getting sick and that probably explained it all! His favorite part by far was the giraffes. Our timing was great again, and they came up to the feeding deck just as we got up there. Aidan was so happy! He wasn't reserved, shy, or anything. He got his twig out of the bucket and walked right up and stuck his hand out. He knew what to do! I honestly think he would have been happy if we had come home at that point! He did what he wanted to do, and he was good to go! He also rode the carousel which was probably number 2 on his list of favorites! We absolutely love the zoo and love that it is an easy day trip! Had a wonderful time! The lemurs were entertaining. They were very active and playful. Aidan picked out a stuffed one from the gift shop to bring home. Quite cute!

This was all we saw of the otters. They were resting, so Aidan didn't get to see them in action. He still LOVES otters!
