We are right smack dab in the middle of potty training. We started this several months back, and Aidan just wasn't ready. Now he suddenly is, thanks to Leigh Anne, and we are trying to take advantage of it. She looked after Aidan for me one day a couple of weeks ago, and her "assignment" was to see if she could get him to go. She had great success, and we are trying to keep it up. Keep in mind that Aidan has a mind of his own, and only does what he wants to do when he wants to do it. Which means, there has been some pushing along the way! He has come a long way in two weeks, and we hope to be completely trained before he starts back to school around Labor Day. 2 months sounds like a reasonable time period, right? :)
First day:
Yes, we let Aidan go potty in the living room. At this point, we are just trying to teach him "what it is all about" and the proper etiquette will come later. And considering, he sits there for 30 plus minutes at a time, it would get pretty boring in the bathroom. But, hmmm, maybe if he were in the bathroom it wouldn't take that long! ??????
