Halloween Part 1

A friend of mine from work invited us to go to her church's trunk or treat on Friday night. We didn't really want to take Aidan to traditional trick or treating, and thought this would be a good compromise. Aidan had a great time, but did not get any treats! :) He was quite happy playing on the bench, and in the gravel by the parking lot!!!! We let him do this for about 30 minutes, and then decided it was probably not going to work out exactly like we had planned! The funny thing was that Andy said Aidan's halloween was a lot like Charlie Brown's....he only got rocks! We took him by McDonald's on the way home for "chick chick", and went home to watch The Great Pumpkin. This was the first year Aidan really watched it, and it has been going almost nonstop since Friday!!! He has watched it at least 15 times this weekend! We are hoping to transition to the Thanksgiving one without much fuss, but I have all ideas we will be watching The Great Pumpkin at Easter!!!
