Outer Banks

A couple of weekends ago we went to the Outer Banks, and took Leigh Anne and Laura with us. We had a great time, and are very ready to go back! The weather cooperated and we were able to do everything we had planned, and Aidan got to play on the beach. Unfortunately, he does not like the way the sand feels on his feet! He will not walk on it without shoes on! It is funny in one way, but then not so much in another. Fortunately, I had already bought him some beach shoes so we were set. He did not care for the water, but it was still extremely cold so I don't blame him!

We went to the Aquarium which we enjoyed, but Aidan decided to "show himself." Can't really blame him because he had been "confined" more than usual and he just needed to run around and expend some energy! Took him outside, and he was perfectly happy! We will see how the next aquarium visit goes next month when we are on vacation!

We also ate at our favorite restaurant there, Tale of the Whale. The food, service, atmosphere and view is unbelievable! Aidan loved his dinner, and was an angel the whole time.

He LOVED riding the jeep and train at the outlet center! It was the coolest thing to him. He loves "driving" cars/trucks anyway, so these were just about the right size for him!

We all had a great time and are looking forward to going again soon!
