Yesterday I started practicing on Aidan's birthday cake. After making the frosting he wanted to lick the beater! He loved it!
We went to McCall's for supper and Aidan had his first taste of barbecue. He liked it, but there is nothing he doesn't like. He will eat anything. This was cute. After each bite of applesauce he would cross his arms on the table and put his head on them like he was thinking about something. It was hilarious!
In this one, he is watching TV. I told Andy I think it is really sad that they have resorted to putting TVs in restaurants. Unfortunately, a lot of families eat dinner while watching TV and the only time they really sit down together is when they eat out. Well, now that restaurants have TVs they will never have time together. It's sad!
These two were taken in the last few weeks at Nana's house. Happy baby!
This was taken at Nana's house on someone's birthday (I don't remember whose because we have so many in the summer). Aidan loves playing with the paper and boxes. He was supposed to be getting his diaper changed and his pajamas on here, but he was having way more fun in the box! The simplest things are the most entertaining!
This picture was taken recently of Aidan in his bouncy seat. He has really outgrown it, but he loves it and still goes to sleep in it every night. Not sure what we are going to do when he doesn't fit in it anymore.
Aidan has really started "talking" over the last several weeks. I was beginning to wonder if he would ever say anything, and then it all started! He has been saying "Hey" for several months. And then one day he started saying "Daddy." Within a couple of days he added "Dada" and has since started with G, W and L sounds. Yesterday he put "Hey" and "Dada" together and it came out "Hey Dada." Wow! No "Mamas" yet, but I am sure it will come soon! We have tried to get this on video, but of course, every time we try he stops talking!
He has also learned how to climb the stairs like a pro. He can't walk, but he can climb stairs! We have also tried to get this on video, and Aidan just stops and looks at us! We will keep trying! It is definitely time to buy some safety gates!
