Battleship

I forgot to post this earlier! In January, we had a really nice weekend so we went to Wilmington for the day to take Aidan to the battleship. He had never been before and didn't really know what to expect. I think he thought we were going to actually ride on it!

We were hoping to see the alligators in the water by the ship, but we never have seen them.

After the battleship we went to the Oceanic for lunch.  We love eating there because it is right on the beach.  Aidan was really good all day, so we took him to the park to play.  I think everyone else in town was there too!  It was extremely crowded. I watch way too much Criminal Minds.  The whole time we were there, I was paranoid that someone was going to snatch Aidan.  I had my eye on him every second, but it was so chaotic it would have been easy for someone to take someone else's child.  Yeah, too much Criminal Minds.  :)

After the park we went to the Train Museum.  We got there about 20 minutes before they closed, so they let us in free if we made a donation.  We thought that was a great deal until they ran us out 10 minutes before they were supposed to close.  Loved the museum but wasn't thrilled with the service.

They had really neat displays and some included Thomas and Percy so Aidan was super excited.

Andy's back was bothering him some but we were still able to have a really good day together.  Hope we can get back down there again soon!  We will just make sure we get to the museum a lot earlier.  :)
