Sometimes Aidan says the cutest things. A few recent ones:
We had a rough February with all of us getting sick. Aidan was first with a double ear infection. Thought we had made it through the cold without getting one, but on Saturday morning he got up crying that his ear hurt. He was in a lot of pain and I felt so sorry for him. The doctor was packed and couldn't get us in until 12:45. He waited patiently all morning, and we kept telling him he was going to the doctor and they would make it all better. We get there, go back to the room, finally get seen, and she confirms the ear infection. She leaves to get something and as soon as she walks out Aidan said "My ear still hurts!" We told him the doctor would make it all better, and he expected immediate relief!
Another "condition" Aidan frequently comes down with (conveniently at bed time) is the "water hiccups". These aren't just any hiccups, they are the water hiccups. Water hiccups can only be cured by drinking water! I bring a cup of water to his room, and he immediately begins his best impression of a real hiccup! I can't tell him it is funny, but it is hilarious to me!
A cute one from school recently. Mrs. Cindy asked Aidan to be the line leader and his response was "Mrs. Cindy, I don't think I want to be the line leader today. I want to be the caboose!" She got a good laugh out of that one!
If you ask Aidan if he wants to do something and he doesn't want to his response is "I don't think that is a good idea!"
He is growing up so quickly and I can't believe how fast time flies. I am so thankful I get to be his mommy!
