9 Months!

Today Aidan is 9 months old! We can't believe it! He has grown and developed so much in such a short amount of time! It seems like he was just born yesterday, but has been in our lives forever.

He went to the doctor today for his 9 month well visit, and he is right where he should be developmentally. He now weighs 22lbs 10.5oz, and is 29.25" long. That is 80th percentile on both length and weight! But that is better than the 97th he was at when he was 4 weeks old! All the doctors say he is just fine the way he is, and that he is just going to be a big boy! He now has 3 teeth (2 on the bottom and 1 on the top), and has gotten very active. He can crawl backwards and roll/slide everywhere he needs/wants to go. He is so close to going forward on his knees, but he just hasn't gotten it yet! He still has the same sweet personality, but I think he is going to be strong-willed. He will let you know what he wants! I wonder where he gets that from?!!?!? (He is actually telling me right now that I need to get off the computer and pick him up! :))

Here are a couple of pictures we just took a little bit ago. We always take his picture on his monthly "birthdays," so we can look back and see how much he has grown and changed.
