Aidan's First Beach Trip

Today was a very exciting day for all of us. We took Aidan to Wrightsville beach. This was his first beach trip, and he seemed to enjoy it. We went to the Oceanic for lunch and were able to eat outside on the pier because it was 75 degrees! A 20 degree difference between here and there! Then we took Aidan on a short walk on the beach. We didn't let him put his feet in the water this time because it was still too cold. Here is a picture of Andy and Aidan. We hadn't used the carrier in a long time, and this was the first time we had Aidan facing forward. It was an adjustment for both of them! Carrying a 20 lb baby is a lot different than a 10-12 pounder!

After the beach we went to Wilmington to walk around downtown. We were able to find Aidan a t-shirt at Top Toad (one of my favorites!), and we saw lots of beautiful historic homes with gorgeous flowers! I would love to live there! Lots of things have changed over the years, but we still enjoy just walking around. Hopefully, this is a place Aidan will grow up enjoying as much as we do.
